Actolind® wound care solutions can be used for cleansing and irrigating the wound surface prior to treatment. Removing contaminants and debris from the wound surface helps prepare it for subsequent wound care applications.
Cleansing
Helps clean the wound surface and the peri-wound area.
Irrigation
Can be used for irrigation of the wound surface and cleansing prior to care.
Moistening
Supports keeping the wound surface moist and helps soften dried dressing materials.

Actolind® w Solution
A wound care solution used for cleansing and irrigating the wound surface prior to treatment.
- Cleansing and irrigation of the wound surface
- Does not require rinsing
- Helps keep the wound surface clean and moist
- Can be used to soften dried and adhered dressings
- Can be applied together with Actolind® w Gel
Actolind® Solution Plus
A wound care solution used for wound irrigation, cleansing, moistening, and care.
- Cleansing and irrigation of the wound surface
- Enhanced wetting and surface tension-reducing properties
- Helps remove contaminants, crusts, necrotic tissues, and biofilm layers
- Can be used to soften dried and adhered dressings
- Can be applied together with Actolind® Gel Plus
Wound Cleansing Process
Product selection and mode of application must be performed in accordance with the instructions for use of the respective Actolind® product.
Cleansing of the Wound Surface
Actolind® wound care solution is applied for the purpose of cleansing and irrigating the wound surface.
Softening of Dressings
Dressings or compresses adhered to the wound surface can be moistened with the solution to soften them and carefully removed.
Subsequent Wound Care
After cleansing, wound care can be continued with Actolind® gel products in accordance with the instructions for use of the relevant product.
